I am going to discuss a Japanese longevity secret with you.
IKIGAI
Ikigai, Japan's counterpart of 'joie de vivre,' is a longevity secret.
The Japanese practice 'ikigai,' an ancient ideology that teaches that instead of just surviving, one should seek joy and meaning in life. It is necessary for life satisfaction and finding joy and purpose in many facets of your life, such as helping others, eating properly, and being surrounded by loving friends and family.
A happy life is the finest existence we can aspire for. It's the type of life that makes us feel good and motivates us to have great expectations for the future. Pure joy may appear to be a transitory experience, yet even if you only feel it for a little moment, you may hang onto it. You can enjoy it.
One need not have any special, unique talent that one has to pursue. Even the daily mundane chores like enjoying our morning coffee, getting ready for work, actually reaching our workplace, and doing things mindfully and happily are all our IKIGAI or purposes in life.
One should take pleasure in whatever one is doing.
Every day should be a day to look forward to.
